The 4 C's: CUT
The True Brilliance of a Diamond is Exposed by it's Cut!
Cut is not the shape of a diamond, but it's proportions, symmetry and polish. Cut is the most important aspect of a diamond's brilliance and fire. Diamonds must be cut to proper proportions to maximize the amount of light going in and coming out of the top (or table) of the diamond. Diamonds that are cut too deep or shallow, or have extremely thick girdles will NOT reflect light properly. Well cut diamonds sell at a premim, while poorly cut diamonds sell at "discounted" prices.
